"Because Mexico City and the million things you can enjoy, we arrived late in the evening to the tiny Mezcal Bar attached to the restaurant. Mezcal being what it is, is steep in local and regional lore - with broad variation and many ways to pair and enjoy it. The bar tender had it all. Expansive knowledge of each of the Mezcals that he poured for us to try, generous with his explanations. Although the kitchen had just closed, they made an exception and prepared an excellent meal, each dish paired with the right Mezcal to showcase both the flavours and the terroir. The chef has been researching different Mexican salts and compounds salts from across the states and incorporated these along with descriptions of how they are prepared and used. Mexico City is magic"

"Absolutely amazing restaurant, serving authentic Mexican dishes from small villages in Puebla and elsewhere with a author chef twist. Some have the signature of a "campesino" from these villages and most are refined by the Chef Diana Lopez, on of the best in the world. Eating here is a priviledge, it is like a trip through space and time and across the mexican gastronomic anthropology. The drinks are also unique, artisanal or ancestral, from villages across the country. This restaurant worth two Michelin stars, but in fact it is even better, since it's approaching is sustainability, working with small farms and natural reserves. Totally recommended."
